Featured Dog
Ginger has waited over a year for a family to pick her. She is funny, demanding of your affection, occasionally obnoxious, but mostly lovable.
She is a great dog and does well with most dogs. She would prefer to be the center of her families attention, but being the only dog isn't a requirement.
Ginger has completed Dog 1 obedience, walks great on leash, and knows how to be a great dog. She enjoys hoarding toys (hers and everyone else's). She does best with structure and routine due to some anxiety when it's chaotic (she does NOT have separation anxiety). She is great around all size humans. She can play rough and is easily corrected with a promt "ouch, no mouth." She has an inner snuggle bug that would love to come out with someone on the couch. Her bond is strong and when her person calls her, she comes running. Our hope is that she finds the perfect family soon. Rescue life is ok, family life is what she longs for.
Ginger is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, crate trained, house broke and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
